Who we are

About
Wagonboy.

An independent studio. Built so the work could stay loud, the calendar could stay ours, and the people doing it could stop apologizing for what they actually wanted to make.

Origin

Why we left to build this

Wagonboy Studio exists because the alternative was unbearable. Years of doing the work inside other people's agencies — watching the boldest ideas get sanded down by approval chains, watching deadlines get pushed because somebody three levels up had a feeling, watching real craft get traded for safe.

We didn't start a studio to grow an empire. We started one to own the calendar, own the standard, and answer to the work first. The freedom to take a Tuesday and rebuild something three times until it's right. The freedom to tell a client no. The freedom to ship our weirdest idea before the room talks us out of it.

If you've ever walked away from a meeting wishing you'd argued harder for the better version of the work — that's the meeting that built Wagonboy.

What that means for clients

A studio that's awake

01
Senior on every project
No "junior was on it." The people on the call are the people on the work. If something's wrong, the person who can fix it is the person you're talking to.
02
Selective by default
We take fewer projects on purpose. The math works because the work is good, not because the funnel is full. We say no to fits we can't make great.
03
Loud where it counts
The brand should be the loudest thing in the room. The studio shouldn't be. We don't put our logo on the homepage of work that's about you.
The team

Founding team

Operators, not employees. Every founding team member here runs the work end-to-end, owns the decisions, and ships under their own name. Their cards are a real snapshot of how they think and the work they want more of — not corporate headshots and one-line bios.
